Inspiration through nature

The Creative Nature team is made up of forest school and bush-craft practitioners, artists and educationalists. We also incorporate the skills and contributions of ecologists and therapists for specialist programmes. Big Fish Director Kate Holdom has a background in theatre, is a trained Forest School Leader and has over 15 years experience of delivering arts, education and community projects across a diverse range of social groups and settings.

“I was very impressed with the professional approach and organisational skills of the Big Fish team. The combination of artists and bushcraft workers enabled all the young people to experience a variety of activities from den building to bird box making, story telling to firemaking, in a safe and inspiring woodland environment. I will certainly be using them again very soon.”
